Marielle Thompson
Race
Hi! I’m Marielle. I grew up in Whistler, Canada and started skiing at the age of two with my parents. Growing up I played lots of sports and while racing alpine. At age sixteen I found ski cross and haven’t looked back. I have been a member of the Canadian World Cup team since the autumn of 2010. During my time competing on the World Cup I have earned three ski cross Overall World Cup titles and raced to an Olympic Gold Medal in Sochi in 2014. Most recently I was third on the World Cup and became 2019 World Champion in Solitude, USA. I love racing ski cross and am always trying to improve my skiing. In summer you can find me on my mountain bike or attempting to improve my golf game.
