The Quantum EVO and EVO W also incorporate Dalbello’s newly developed AUTOFIT technology. A special memory foam that molds perfectly to the shape of the foot is used at two points in the ankle area. The foam pads provide improved heel support in the boot for optimized performance on the ascent and descent while also protecting areas prone to blistering against abrasion during ascents.

AND QUICK RELEASE
The Velcro powerstrap combined with a Hike & Ride buckle on the cuff provides the perfect closure tension around the leg. A built-in spring holds it in the desired position during the ascent and prevents the irritating movement and rattling sound of the buckle. The Velcro powerstrap also features a memory function (Quick Release): once set to the right width, the strap no longer needs to be opened and re-adjusted—an extremely practical feature that saves time during everyday use.
